Brian Hauser

Brian  Hauser

Brian Hauser is ABD in Film and Television studies in the Department of English. His dissertation surveys “supernatural detectives” in film and television of the 1990s and 2000s to argue that rational investigation of the supernatural represents an approach to personal, national, and narrative traumas. He has contributed a chapter to an anthology on The X-Files and literature from Cambridge Scholars Press. Brian is a Graduate Administrative Assistant for OSU’s Film Studies Program. He is also a screenwriter who has completed feature- and short-film screenplays for Anders International, Inc. Brian currently teaches for the Undergraduate International Studies Program. In 2006, he won the Graduate Associate Teaching Award.

Brian's office hours are daily, 11am to 1pm, in Room 4108 of Smith Labs.


Sara Luly

Sara Luly is a GAA in the program of Film Studies as well as a TA in the department of Germanic Languages and Literatures.   Her research areas include horror literature and 18th century German cultural studies.
