Description

This winter, we ran a student short film competition called Project OSU Spotlight. We asked students to submit ideas for a film, in any genre or style, that would best illustrate why they chose Ohio State and speak to their experiences in our program. We funded the most promising entry with a $500 grant and provided the creators with studio space and production equipment. The entrants were encouraged to craft their own messages, in their own words.

We congratulate this year’s Project OSU Spotlight winner, Chase Angel, a Junior double majoring in Pre-Law and Marketing with minors in Theatre and Video Arts. He directed a short documentary based on interviews with Kyle Dorony (Business – Accounting), Sierra Goldfarb (Strategic Communications and Video Arts), Daulton Gunnell (Moving-Image Production and Music, Media and Enterprise), and Alex Jang (Film Studies and Video Arts), and other students from the program served as production assistants.
