Summer Internships

Internships are a critical component of Film Studies and MIP. Students have interned at locations in Ohio and across the nation, including the following:

Pixar, CBS, Broadway VideoBungalow Media, Paradigm, INE EntertainmentEcho Lake Entertainment3 Arts Entertainment, Groundswell Productions, and Silver Productions.

Students in our program have also interned at places like the Mark Gordon Company, Salt Film Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer, and the Cohen Film Collection in Columbus and Los Angeles on such films as Carol, Captain America: Winter Soldier, and Fast and Furious 8.

Our summer internship program is a year long personalized approach to help provide students with not only the skills to seek out internships but be able to transition those skills into finding a position after graduation. Each student should meet with Film Studies / MIP advisors to formulate a strategy based on that students interest, hobbies, background, etc.

Students who are interested in starting the summer internship research process should contact Film Studies to set up an appointment.
